II Note: 2.00 units of study (1 year elective, 1 year regents) TWO YEAR sequence with Regents after the second year. Offered in Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 In this course students study: life characteristics, scientific method, biological tools, cells, plant and animal physiology, classification of organisms, maintenance of protists, plants and animals, reproduction, Mendelian and modern genetics, evolution and ecology. This material will be covered over two years and laboratory work and written lab exercises are required for the Regents exam. The curriculum for this course represents the State Education revision of the Regents Biology course.
