Integrated Science
is a middle school science program offered in the 6th through
8th grades. It is a thematic spiraled curriculum that works
from concrete subject matter to abstract concepts. Chemistry,
biology, earth/space science and physics are integrated around
thematic topics to help students understand how science works in
the world and the classroom. Hands-on activities will help
students develop critical thinking skills and give them a better
understanding of how science relates to real world problems.
All types of learning modalities are addressed.
Students who are
selected for the accelerated program in the 8th grade will take
the Living Environment.
