Offered in Grades 9, 10,11 12
      In this course students study: life characteristics, scientific method, biological tools, cells,  plants and animal physiology, classification of organisms, reproduction, Mendelian and modern genetics, evolution and ecology.  This material will be covered in one years and laboratory work and written lab exercises are required for the Regents exam. This course follows the NYS syllabus for Living Environment.

Sheltered Living Environment

Prerequisite: Three Regents Level Course in biology, chemistry, physics or earth science.

    A college level biology course in which laboratory work is supplemented with collateral readings and lectures.  Major areas of study focus on: molecular and cellular biology; organismal and ecological biology; genetics and evolution.
